The Native American Indians were great believers in Sacred Spirits and the power of dreams, so produced a web to catch them in....The bad dreams were caught tight within the web, and the good dreams could gently pass through...
Dream Catcher..
Oh Dream Catcher.
Catch all my dreams..
As I lie here in my bed...
Let not the bad dreams trouble me,
Leave them trapped within your web.
But of my sweet dreams..
Let them flow,
So my soul can learn to dance..
Oh Dream Catcher, above my bed,
Let the Spirits be entranced.
So, as I sleep, watch over us..
And let my slumbers be..
More peaceful..
Filled with love and light...
As you catch my dreams for me.
